THE HISTORY:
i had loved banana hill since day 1 of its release. on that fateful february morning in 2017 i woke up and watched it. it endeared me and i rewatched it many times between that day and april 1st 2019. i do remember it being a relatively "up there" interest for me, what with that time in 2017 when the BH YTP collab dropped and i thought it was really BH2 and almost went crazy before i actually watched it.

april 1st, 2019: bembo releases his "banana hell 2" video, and this activates my fucking sleeper cell. all gay autism heaven breaks loose.

a couple days after that drops, i stayed up all night on dxm, and in the ungodly hours of around 4-7 AM, i rewatch banana hill.

i IMMEDIATELY understand.
i had feelings that BH would be something big for me, but it all clicked after watching that. i knew these characters were There, in a way that i cant describe.
i started making art and content almost immediately, and quickly latched on to all the characters, especially gill, and darcy for a sense of identity, as my bpd fucking SUCKS. it immediately became the most important thing to me in a LONG time.
